I'm wondering if anyone has used similar software for PA management before and if you guys have recommendations? I'm basically looking for a more professional program that can do application-to-application and interface-to-interface routing that's flexible enough to deal with multiple interfaces and mismatched sample rates while also providing AU plugin, delay, and multi-channel splitting support. While the UI is really friendly to work in, the auto-routing system becomes a huge pain to debug for larger networks, and the inability to lock blocks/routes in place once setup can lead to show ending catastrophe if I'm not careful with my mouse. However, as I've started to use Hijack for more complex setups, its shortcomings have become glaringly obvious. It's super flexible and can handle as many different interfaces and software routes as I throw its way. For the most part it works really well and I get a lot of use out of it. I use it a lot when I'm doing small to medium-small DJ or "AudioVisual Art" type events where I can't be arsed to bring hardware PA management gear or don't have the time or space to set up a rack.

I've been using Audio Hijack Pro for quite some time now as a simple multi-channel audio routing/delay software with AU plugin support. r/broadcastengineering - Broadcast Engineering.
